To assist in managing existing
builder relationships and the
development of new builder
opportunities.

To support Business Development
Manager with reports,
presentations and other
communications, as well as ad hoc
requests for information and
assistance.

Deputising for Business
Development Manager as
appropriate.

Overseeing the account management
activity, to ensure financial and
regulatory objectives are met

by identifying, monitoring and

Ensure that all areas of account
management within your remit
comply with all legal and
statutory requirements applicable,
including but not exclusively FSA
and IMD legislation, data
protection, health and safety and
corporate governance.

Manage all aspects of account
management with due skill, care
and diligence including effective
controls, risk management and
mitigation
-
Ensure any processes and marketing
campaigns are compliant with ICOB3
(Financial Promotions principles),
of high quality and produced on
time
-
Assist the Business Development
Manager in the day to day account
management of existing builders.
-
Provide reports, presentations and
other communications to house
builders.
-
Responding to requests for
additional information and
answering ad hoc queries. Managing
annual meeting schedule and
communicating to house builder
team.

Managing and updating the monthly
new business prospecting report,
and highlighting progress.
-
Communicating to relevant
persons/departments new customer
set up or changes to existing
customers terms of service (for
example, new products, new
divisions, Christmas service etc).

Obtaining builder registrations
forecasts and regularly updating
and reporting these to house
builder team.

Producing new business
presentations and assisting
generally in new builder and new
market development.

Monitor competitors and regularly
reports developments to house
builder team.
-
Managing builder contracts
dispatch, comment signature and
renewal.
-
Developing and
reporting builder measures of
existing builder relationships.
-
Building relationships with
decision maker and key contacts
within existing and new builders.
-
Liaison with SPM, APM and Execs
regarding pricing and new
products.

For FSA and IMD regulation purposes
maintain appropriate knowledge of
the ‘High Level Standards’ within
the FSA’s Handbook of Rules and
Guidance and be able to apply this
knowledge in ensuring the business
complies with the regulations to the
fullest extent.

Awareness of all legislation
relating to financial promotions and
codes of practice (ICOB 3)

Experience in a role where
analytical thinking was required.

Desirable
-
Degree level education possibly
with a marketing qualification (DipM
M Inst DM)

Marketing and or key account
experience 2-3 years
-
Experience of or other home
assistance products or insurance
regulated environment.

Possibly industry
experience in the house builder
sector
