Garlands to Go Live at contact centre in South Shields with creation of
100 new jobs


South Tyneside, UK, 2nd January 2008.  Garlands Call Centres is
delighted to announce the creation of 100 jobs at its new contact centre
site at Market Dock North, South Shields, South Tyneside. 

The new positions are for Customer Service Advisors, Technical Advisers,
Team Managers and Support Staff, working for an existing Garlands'
client in the telecoms and broadband industry.  Recruitment activities
start immediately.

The Garlands site is located just a few minutes walk from the South
Shields Metro station.

Construction of the 800 seat, 47,000 sq ft contact centre in South
Shields is expected to be completed in April 2008 - with around a
thousand people eventually working at the Garlands' South Shields site.
