Many clients of
outsourced vendors have discovered that
they need to have their own
representatives dedicated to ensuring a
win-win partnership with their vendor.
It used be that this role would be
managed by a specific department such as
Sales or Marketing but increasingly,
this has become a function in its own
right. The role is typically
served by someone who has experience in
both the capacity as a client and in a
management role in an outsourcer
although the experience in the
outsourced environment is normally the
most important.
